make p:rem's Peel me. Radiance peeling sleeping pack takes advantage of the sleeping state to help 'care' for your skin in multiple ways. That word, 'care', is used a lot in Korean cosmetics without much substance elaborated behind it, but this one does! That 'care' is broken down into the dissolution of dead skin cells (exfoliation), the creation of a moisture film and subsequent retainment of moisture, skin cooling and calming, tone balancing, and wrinkle-fighting, all rolled into this one product. PHA, or Poly Hydroxy Acids, are a form of exfoliants similar to AHA (Alpha) and BHA (Beta) in that they work on the skin in a chemical way, as opposed to physical exfoliants like scrubs and the like. What makes PHA special, especially in the form of Lactobionic Acid in this product, is that it slowly dissolves dead skin cells while forming a moisture film on the skin, providing care on at least two different fronts while minimizing the risk of irritation. AHA and BHA work in different ways, and might have a higher possibility of a negative reaction.
